Adventure Program Rental Shop
The Adams State Adventure Program maintains a large assortment of outdoor adventure gear that is available for rent to members of the Adams State College community and the general public. Renters are encouraged to reserve gear in advance to insure that it is ready and available on the desired date(s). Equipment can be reserved by calling (719)587-7813 or in person at the Adventure Program Rental Shop located on the first floor of the Student Union Building, in the Student Life Center.
How Do I Get The Gear?
- Call the rental shop at 587-7813
- Show up during rental shop hours:
Monday & Friday 9 am - 6 pm
Saturday 1 pm - 5 pm - Review the rental shop policies & pay for the gear. We accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards.
- Give yourself time to become familiar with the equipment; i.e. practice setting up a tent or adjusting a backpack.
- Get outside and have fun!
Rental Policies
The renter assumes sole liability for any injuries or damages received while using Adventure Program equipment. Any claim about the unsuitability of the rented equipment is limited solely to the refund of the rental fee.
By signing the Equipment Release Form, the renter agrees to release, indemnify and hold the State of Colorado, the Trustees of the State Colleges of Colorado, Adams State College, the Adventure Program, and its officers, agents, or employees harmless from any and all liability or costs associated with or arising from renting Adventure Program equipment.
Rental Fees are non-refundable. Late fees will be assessed for the full rental price of the item everyday after the return date. If the rental equipment is returned and the late fee is not paid the renter will be assessed for the full rental price of the item everyday after the return. After 30 days the renter is responsible for the replacement cost of the item, as well as all late fees. Renter is responsible for the full replacement cost of lost stolen or damaged equipment. Equipment should be returned to ASAP in clean condition or cleaning and service fees may be charged.
