Responsibilities:
The Provost is the chief operating officer of Adams State College. The Provost reports to the president of the College, and has major responsibilities for internal university matters including:
- Enrollment Management- Admissions, Financial Aid, and Records
- Academic Affairs- Faculty, Curriculum, Undergraduate and Graduate level programs
- Student Affairs- Student Life, Housing, and Public Safety
- Extended Studies- ASC degree programs, and professional development courses offered around the world

- providing academic programs, both on and off campus, that prepare students for successful careers
- offering academically strong graduate programs, responding especially to the needs of K-12 teachers in rural Colorado
- offering continuing education and skill development courses responding to the needs of K-12 teachers
