The annual Adams State Winterfest concert is December 9 (11-29-07)
The Adams State College Music Department will present the annual Winterfest Concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 in Plachy Hall. This concert is an annual event and is a favorite in the community. All of the music ensembles will perform.
A variety of seasonal music, such as "Carol of the Bells" and "Twas the Night Before Christmas," narrated by Adams State President David Svaldi, will be featured. Other selections include "Go Tell it on the Mountain," "Benedicamus Domino," "The Christmas Song" and an excerpt from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. The audience will join in the festivities, singing along on traditional carols.
"Once again, we are please to present this event, which has a long tradition and will be an enjoyable event for the whole family," Dr. William Lipke, chair Department of Music, said.
