Spanish for health professionals offered at Adams State (12-06-07)
The Adams State College Spanish Program will offer Spanish for health professionals course in the spring 2008.
Deborah Zardeneta, Adams State College Spanish instructor, will teach the class which will meet at 8 a.m., Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The course is suitable for pre-nursing, pre-med, and nursing students, as well as professionals in the field.
The medical Spanish curriculum will cover a wide range of topics from anatomical vocabulary, medical terminology, and procedures to doctor-patient relationship and cultural appropriateness, utilizing a communicative approach.
