ASC spring band concert is April 19 (04-09-08)
The Adams State College Music Department presents the Spring Band Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in Richardson Hall.
The program will include "Original Suite," by Gordon Jacob; "As Summer Was Just Beginning," by Larry Daehn; and "Folk Dances," by Dmitri Shostakovich. The Adams State Wind Ensemble will perform "Moorside March," by Gustav Holst, arr. Gordon Jacob; "Concertino," by Carl Maria von Weber, featuring concerto competition second place winner, Leslie Kahler, on clarinet; and "Concerto," movements I and IV by Ney Rosauro, featuring concerto competition first place winner, Daniel Sours, on the marimba.
Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children, AS&F and Friends of Music are free. For further information call 719-587-7621.
