Spanish translators talk about building their business at ASC (04-12-07)
The Adams State College Spanish Program is hosting professional translators, Paul and Rosa Maria Edmunds, of Translations La Rosa, Albuquerque, New Mexico, at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20 in the ES Building room 327. The Edmunds will speak about how they built their business from the ground up in Michelle Salazar's, visiting assistant professor of Spanish, SPAN 317 class.
"Come and hear how their business has grown," said Salazar. "Nationwide there is a shortage of translators and interpreters. If you have considered entering this field this would be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the profession."
The event is free and open to the public. For information, contact Michelle Salazar, 719-587-7772, or email michelle_salazar@adams.edu.
