"Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too."

~ Voltaire

"Don't join the book burners. Don't think you are going to conceal thoughts by concealing evidence that they ever existed."

~ Dwight D. Eisenhower

My name is Justin Garoutte and I am a senior at Centauri High School. I recently viewed the Fahrenheit 451 play at Adams State and really enjoyed it. The intense feelings of determination and hope that followed the play were amazing. I enjoyed the book which was kindly donated by Adams State and enjoyed the play just as much. I am so grateful that you took the time to organize many of the events that took place for this project. I also was able to see Luis Valdez and was impressed by his speech and mastery of the spoken language. The Ray Bradbury teleconference also left an impact on my life. It was so interesting to actually hear from the author behind the scenes of a novel. I really enjoyed that. The entire Fahrenheit 451 projects were definitely worthwhile for not only myself, but many others throughout the San Luis Valley. Thank you!

~ Justin Garoutte
