Course Description: This course in economic policy is the study of the structure and function of the U.S. economic system and the use of monetary, fiscal, and other policies to stabilize the economy. Emphasis is placed on studying macroeconomic issues from a political economy perspective, i.e., how policies are derived from the complex interplay of political, social, and economic forces.
Course Description: Application and integration of microeconomic and macroeconomic theory and tools of decision science to managerial decision-making. Particular emphasis is placed on estimating demand and cost functions as well as the effects of time and uncertainty.
