Experience the Arts
Explore your creativity through hands-on workshops in the Visual Arts, Theatre and Literary Arts. Perfect your audition for the All-State Choir through a one on one session with a professional voice instructor. Have fun finding out about the great arts facilities at Adams State College.
Workshops
Special sessions will involve hands-on activities and workshops in the Visual Arts, Music, Theatre and Literary Arts. You will be asked to choose two sessions from the following:
- All-State Choir Preparation
- Bookmaking
- Creative Writing
- Drama
- Graphic Design single
- Jewelry
- Painting
- Piano Master Class
- Pinhole Photography
- Raku Ceramics
Information Sessions
Participants will learn about Adams State College admissions procedures, financial aid, major requirements, extracurricular activities and clubs at the information sessions. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
See the Campus
You will have a chance to see the campus and meet current students and faculty members, as well as meet a lot of new people.
How Much Does it Cost?
The only costs of ARTS EXTRAVAGANZA are those associated with getting here. Adams State College will provide all materials needed for the workshops, all meals and entrance fees for events.
All participants will receive an Arts Extravaganza T-shirt.
Accommodations
Those planning to arrive Thursday will be responsible for making their own lodging arrangements. Costs for lodging will not be covered by Adams State College. Click on the links below for more information about lodgings in Alamosa.
