Visiting Assistant Professor of HPPE

Adams State College is currently accepting applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of HPPE.
Starting Date: August 2008
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of HPPE;
- supervising field experience coursework;
- advising undergraduate students;
- scholarly activity;
- service to the department, and institution;
- additional faculty responsibilities will be explored based upon qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Required: Ph.D., Ed.D. or ABD in HPPE or related field; ability to teach two or more of the following:- research methods, measurement and evaluation, sports psychology.
- Ability to perform duties of this position.
- Preferred: College teaching experience.
- Related abilities: Ability to teach physical education pedagogy.
Salary and Benefits:
Compensation will be in accordance with qualifications and experience. Adams State College offers a competitive benefit package.
