Installing Firefox
As early as June 2004, security experts have began recommending that users use something other than Internet Explorer to browse the Internet. Since that time, Mozilla Firefox has come to the forefront as the premier web browser, both in terms of features as well as security. While all software programs have flaws, it has been shown that the Mozilla team responds more quickly to security problems than does the Internet Explorer team.
This tutorial will guide you through installing the current version of Mozilla Firefox. You can download Mozilla Firefox from www.mozilla.org. Adams State College also maintains a local copy that you can download from ftp.adams.edu.
