Alumnus serving as temporary Diversity & Affirmative Action Officer (04-29-08)

Joel Korngut is serving as temporary Diversity and Affirmative Action Officer for Adams State College until the search for a full-time Diversity Officer is completed. He is scheduled to be on campus an average of two days a week in SUB 329. His phone is ext. 8213; email is: joelkorngut@adams.edu

An ASC alumnus of 1967 and resident of Albuquerque, Korngut brings over 30 years of experience as an EEO Officer, Civil Rights Investigator, and Human Resource Manager. He most recently conducted training on EEO related matters for the New Mexico Department of Labor. He previously served as the Chief of Human Resource Operations for the New Mexico State Personnel Office and HR Bureau Chief for the New Mexico Department of Labor. He is an experienced investigator and mediator and has conducted many trainings on issues related to diversity, affirmative action and sexual harassment.
