Developing good eating habits was one objective of the "Healthy Buddies" program.
Human Physiology and Physical Education Senior Seminar students this semester have conducted a service learning project with Evans Elementary students, under the direction of Assistant Professor of HPPE, Dr. Margie Miller. Called "Healthy Buddies," the project entailed one-on-one interactions between ASC students and at-risk elementary students to help them make "healthy lifestyle choices". The project culminated with lunch and activities on campus, April 24. The senior seminar students will present pre- and post-project data and results of the program through a powerpoint presentation.
