You Should Know
- Students will not be placed for student teaching unless the Teacher Education Department has received a passing score on the appropriate PLACE or Praxis II content exam by the end of the seventh week of the semester prior to the student teaching semester.
- The Colorado Department of Education requires a background check for every student participating in classroom field experience labs. You will not be able to register for classes with labs attached until the background check is complete.
If you plan on registering for courses with labs attached next semester, complete your background check now. Forms are available in ES 226 and the OneStop.
