Adams State College Band Program
New for fall 2008! The Music Department now has a number of $500 Marching Band scholarships available. These are open to all ASC students, regardless of major. Contact Dr. VanValkenburg (jvanvalkenburg@adams.edu) for details.
The ASC instrumental faculty understands that choosing a college is one of the most important life decisions students can make. It is our goal to provide all of our students with an exceptional music learning experience. We have an outstanding group of faculty members who are accomplished musicians and educators. We have small class sizes to give students the individual attention they need. Students can perform in a wide variety of ensembles including two concert bands, marching band, jazz ensemble, orchestra, percussion ensemble, and mariachi. Other performance opportunities include various chamber ensembles, master classes, and the annual ASC Bands Concerto Competition. We hope you consider participating in ASC's band program!
